Every New Mexico Number Is Published. One Number in This Comparison Is Not.

NM Registered Agent.org is a New Mexico registered agent service charging $99 a year, and we stand to gain from anyone who reads this and switches. What we say about Inc Authority is limited to what that company published, or did not publish, as of a July 2026 review of its site.

A Free Year Is a Free Year

Somebody has to hold the agent line the moment a New Mexico LLC exists, Inc Authority holds it, and for twelve months you are not billed for the service. Owners on a tight launch budget can reasonably take that deal.

Year Two Has No Number Attached to It

The renewal rate is not published. In July 2026 we went through the company's public pages looking for a single figure, what agent service costs once the free year ends, and the figure is not stated on any of them.

Guessing is not an option we will take. A renewal price invented here would be the same failure this page objects to. What can be said accurately is narrower and still worth saying: across this industry, a rate that appears nowhere on a website is usually one that first surfaces on a checkout screen or in a phone conversation. That is a pattern in the market, not a documented fact about this company, and it should be read as only that much.

Consider Who Else in This Transaction Publishes Their Numbers

Here is what makes the blank stand out in this particular state. New Mexico tells an LLC owner everything, in advance, for free.

Read the column on the right. A New Mexico owner can sit down before spending a dollar and total up the entire lifetime cost of the state's involvement: fifty dollars to exist, nothing on a schedule ever again, twenty dollars on the one occasion you move the agent. The statute is public, the fee schedule is public, and neither requires a phone call.

Against that background, the missing figure is conspicuous. Every party to this transaction except one has told you what it charges before you commit. And in a state where the agent fee is the only recurring cost a typical LLC carries, an unknown renewal is not one uncertain line among several. It is the only line there is, left blank.

Our Two Numbers, Both of Them on This Page

The first year is $99. Every year after that is $99. There is no third figure hiding behind those, no tier that unlocks the real price, and nothing that requires you to start an order or give us a phone number before you can find out. Two years costs $198. Five costs $495. You can do that arithmetic now, which is the entire point.

For $99: a staffed address in New Mexico that carries the public listing so yours does not, lawsuits and state mail imaged and released to you inside the same business day, and a document portal live from the day you enroll.

Fairness runs in both directions, so: BetterLegal's published $90 undercuts our $99, and a page built around a missing number cannot go quiet about that one. Ours is among the lowest flat annual rates in New Mexico rather than the lowest of all of them.

Switching Away From Inc Authority, in Two Sentences

One statement of change, submitted online to the Secretary of State, moves an agent appointment in New Mexico. An LLC owes $20 for it and the portal adds its card processing charge; nothing exists on paper to download. The only sequencing rule: your replacement agent goes on the record before the previous one comes off it. The statement names an incoming agent by design, so hiring us first and filing second means the appointment transfers without ever leaving the office unoccupied.
